For our first event, we stayed close to home and participated in the local Watermelon Festival in Arcadia, Florida.  We did some things right and we did some things wrong.  Hopefully we provided the people who attended the festival an opportunity to see some interesting items and buy some unique merchandise.

Our travels have taken us to California where we have found fertile fossil hunting grounds.  We participated in a couple more events in the Spring of 2004. each one teaching us something new.

We are patiently pursuing our long-term goal of traveling full-time with our business and participating in major events, such as State Fairs.  In the fall of 2005 we participated in our first major event (a small-ish State Fair in my childhood home of South Dakota).
