06-03-06 - The plan was to be at the hill early, but that never seems to work out.  When I got to the parking area at about 9:00AM, there was no one there (on a Saturday?).  When I got out of the truck, I noticed why.  It was HHHHHHOT.  Summer is upon us and I guess the other diggers realize that.  I ran some errands and came back at noon, but still there was no one there.  I've resolved that it's early or not at all, at least until the weather cools down this fall.  As I was running errands, I stumbled onto a hot rod and motorcycle show.  I used my cell phone/camera to take some pics.  I'll try to include more photos with the diary in the future.  Sorry for the low quality, but I always have my phone with me, and never my camera.
