Description - If you think this is a lot of money for an obviously repaired tooth, then you don't know how rare the tooth is that you're looking at.  I don't like listing repaired teeth and seldom purchase them, but this one had to be an exception.  Parotodus benedeni teeth are rare enough as it is.  One from Bakersfield, CA is exceptionally rare.  If you check online authorities about this tooth, you will learn it is estimated that less than 100 of these teeth have EVER been discovered from this fossil formation.  If you have some skill painting, you may be able to create a BEAUTIFUL tooth.  Other than the tip, which has obviously been replaced, the rest of the tooth is in good condition and looks very nice.  NOTE - See if you can find another one of these for sale ANYWHERE.
