 "Diffused" lighting was used for these photos, to reduce glare and better show color and detail.  The tooth's enamel will appear more glossy in person, than it does in the photos.

Description - This monster sized hook-tooth has some character.  The tip seems to almost change angle.  The pumpkin color of the lower half of the blade contrasts with the very light gray/blue upper half (especially on the back - below).  The white markings add another element.  On the left side of the root, slightly toward the front, is a thin line of damage, but it doesn't take much away from this great tooth.
