Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)

FSM is comprised of over 600 islands in the western Pacific (white star on map shows general area).  It is a federation of four states - Pohnpei, Chuuk (Truk), Yap and Kosrae (thus - four white stars on an ocean-blue flag).  A constitution was adopted in 1979 and independence was attained in 1986.  FSM has a population of 100,000+ people, who work primarily in agriculture and fishing.  It is also well known for quality wood-carving, which we are proud to offer at our web site.
